How we handle information
Privacy Policy
Effective and last updated September 16, 2026
We collect only what we need to sell and deliver books, support readers, protect the store, and—with a separate choice—send useful updates.
1. Who controls your information
Jessyka Mathews, a sole proprietor doing business as 3G Publishing ("3G Publishing," "we," "us," or "our"), is the controller responsible for the personal information described here. Contact us at hello@3gpublishing.com, +1 (714) 400-2632, or 2166 W Broadway #1008, Anaheim, CA 92804-2446, United States.
2. Information we collect
- Order and contact information: email address, purchased titles, prices, payment status, order identifiers, and communications with us.
- Payment information: Stripe collects the billing and card information you enter at checkout. We receive transaction details but not your full card number.
- Store and device information: cart contents saved in your browser, privacy choices, IP address, browser/device details, security events, and basic server logs needed to deliver and protect the site.
- Optional first-party analytics: if you allow Analytics in Cookie Choices, we count a limited list of funnel steps by event name and day. These records do not include your email, name, book title, full referrer, health information, or a visitor profile. A one-way order hash is used only to avoid duplicate purchase and first-download counts.
- Marketing choices: whether you separately opted into 3G news and offers or 3G-sent selected-partner offers, along with when and how the choice was made. If you request a free sample, we also process the email address and confirmation status needed to fulfill that request.
We do not ask you to submit symptoms, diagnoses, or other health records through this store.
3. How we use information
- create checkout, confirm payment, provide downloads, email order access, apply upgrade credit, and respond to support or refund requests;
- secure the store, prevent fraud and abuse, troubleshoot, and meet legal, tax, accounting, and recordkeeping duties;
- when you allow Analytics, understand aggregate funnel performance without building an identity or health-interest profile;
- send essential messages about a purchase or a request you made; and
- send a marketing category only when you selected that separate optional choice, until you withdraw it.
Where a law requires a legal basis, these activities rely on performing our agreement with you, complying with law, our legitimate interests in running and protecting the store, or your consent, as appropriate.
4. Marketing and partner offers
The checkout choices are optional and start unchecked. You can buy without joining either list. “3G news and offers” covers newsletters, new releases, and 3G Publishing promotions. “Selected-partner offers” covers occasional promotions chosen and sent by 3G Publishing for another business. Selecting it does not authorize us to give that partner your email address.
The free starter-kit form clearly asks for newsletter permission and uses double confirmation. We first send a short-lived confirmation link. Opening that link alone does not subscribe you; you must press the confirmation button before we add your address to the newsletter list. That signup does not include selected-partner offers.
Marketing messages will identify the sender and include a way to unsubscribe. You may withdraw a choice at any time by using that link or emailing us. Withdrawing consent does not affect an earlier lawful use. We may retain a minimal suppression record so we do not email you again after you opt out.
5. Service providers and disclosures
We disclose information only as needed to service providers working for us, including:
- Stripe for checkout, payment, receipts, and fraud prevention;
- Cloudflare for hosting, file delivery, security, and limited order records;
- Resend, when email delivery is enabled, for transactional delivery and marketing messages you requested; and
- Zoho, when business email is enabled, for customer support.
Providers may process information in countries other than yours under their contractual and legal safeguards. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale with appropriate protections.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not give your email to a featured partner merely because you opted into partner offers.
6. How long we keep information
Our limited Cloudflare order audit record and private delivery token are scheduled to expire one year after the order. First-party analytics event and duplicate-prevention records expire after 30 days. An unconfirmed free-sample request is encrypted and scheduled to expire after 24 hours. Short-lived, pseudonymous abuse-prevention counters expire after one hour or one day. An encrypted checkpoint used to prevent duplicate starter-kit and onboarding messages expires within 90 days. We keep a separate minimal encrypted newsletter-consent record—email address, signup source, wording version, and confirmation time—while the permission remains active and afterward only as reasonably needed to demonstrate the request or honor an opt-out. Stripe retains payment records according to its legal and operational requirements. We retain support, tax, fraud-prevention, and transaction records only as long as reasonably needed for their purpose and applicable law. Marketing permission is kept until you withdraw it or the list is retired; a limited opt-out record may be kept longer. Browser storage remains until you clear it or the store removes it as described in our Cookie Policy.
7. Your choices and privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask what information we hold, receive a copy, correct or delete it, restrict or object to a use, or receive portable information. You can always withdraw marketing consent and review cookie choices. Applicable law may allow us to retain information for payment, tax, fraud prevention, legal claims, or other specified reasons.
Email hello@3gpublishing.com with “Privacy request” in the subject. We may take reasonable steps to verify that the request concerns you. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable right. You may also contact your local privacy regulator.
8. Security and private order links
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet system is completely secure. Your order link acts like a key to the purchased files. Do not publish or forward it. If you believe it has been exposed, contact us.
9. Children
The store is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child provided information can contact us.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices or legal obligations change. We will post the updated date and provide additional notice when a change is material or consent is required.
